Today is the last day of my work deadline. Since our group did a pretty good progress, the result is not bad. Yukie feel happy that hard work finally pays off. \(^-^)/
But, since I have been sick lately, and got too tired because of work. I decided to take 3 days off from work and just rest and recover. Which means Yukie will have another 3-4 lazy days! =3
So, Yukie just got a few new projects going. (mysterious voice: have you finished your previous projects?! =_=”) –hahaha, trivial things are not important ^-^)b
Yukie had a long girls talk with Jun-chan yesterday.
So, Jun is getting started on Maid Cafe project for Fanime 2009! And I will help her for recruiting, training, and preparation of the event.
If you are interested and want to be a cute cute maid serving foods during Fanime09, please read the details below and contact us nyo~ <3

====================================
Fanime 2009 Maid Cafe Recruiting Details:
Your job is to play the role of a cute maid to properly greet and serve your patrons food and drinks and interacting with them directly. This includes having direct, short conversations with them and making them feel comfortable. You may also do simple and fun activities like playing short games, folding origami, and if you have artistic talent, you can doodle a picture for them on their coaster to keep! Our goal is to offer a memorable experience to attendees with the maid cafe.
It is also your duty to pay attention to detail. Greeting your patrons properly is important. You will learn how and when to bow at the right times, what to say to greet your patrons as they enter and leave, and how to play your role as a cute and adorable maid serving them!
※ Girls only, sorry.
※ No experience is necessary, but it would be a plus.
※ You must be provided with your own maid uniform, preferably black and white. NOTHING PROVOCATIVE.
Example: Here

If you are interested, please e-mail Jun at cirque.du.misfortune AT gmail DOT com . If possible, it would also be a plus if you could include your best and most recent photo in your e-mail, and your information (name, alias, age). If approved, you will recieve an e-mail including a short training guide. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
We’re in need of volunteers, so please consider. All help is appreciated. Thank you.
~ Your maid trainer, Jun

Karaoke Contest @ UC Berkeley
My old Berkeley friend just asked me to attend their annual karaoke contest. It is a joint event host by two Chinese student groups at UC Berkeley. When I was in college, I went to k-con and sing every year. Yukie is the only one that sing Japanese songs there every single time LOL. So I decide to show my otaku pride once again this year xD
Luckily I passed the audition although I was working and couldn’t go. The judges remembers me “She sing japanese and dance everytime!” so they let me in =P
Now Yukie need to prepare music video and dance steps for the songs.
Yukie graduated already, so I really dont care what I can get. I just want to enjoy performing and enjoy the audiences and sing! As the same time, Yukie is very excited meeting new talented singers there as well =D
