Hatsune Miku just released two CDs, which are made of her most popular songs on NicoNIco Douga during the last 2 years, Including
[Ievan Polkka] (more leeks~~!)

I just started importing my blog into facebook. Hopefully my friends doesn’t mind me spamming them^^;;;;a

Yukie just finished watching [Sora wo Kakeru Shojo]. It’s a pretty fun anime to spend time on (since there is nothing else to watch lately).

The character design is very well done.

I would say the anime is …

35% Lelouch,
15% Yuri,
15% comedy,
10% Otaku Culture,
10% fan service,
10% school girls,
1% borken hatsune miku,
0.5% Gundam,
1% leopard swimming suit,
1% baseball+Koshien,
1.5% Others.

Story-wise, some parts are boring, some parts making me think deeply, some parts are fan service (for guys), and many of them are just funny and random.

Overall it’s not extremely good but not bad. I enjoyed my time watching it^^v

I was surprised to see hatsune miku and gundam in the last epipode xDD That totally made my day LOL.

Now which anime to watch next…? >.<a

So I’m just putting a few quick notes here:

Yukie went to San Francisco Japan Town for their new building — New People Grand Opening event!

The infamous character designer and artist Amano Yoshikata also went there. Yukie was very lucky that I got his autograph and took a picture with him >.< That totally made my day!(or life!)

Yukie is practicing dance steps for maid cafe performance…

hmmm this is hard~~because the dance moves don’t have connections with meaning of the lyrics, it does not like other dances I did before ^-^;;;;

Yukie had a gathering with other maids last Sat, it was very fun! (and the weather was super hot too >.<;;;)
We practice dance steps, had lunch together, and also took a look at SuperCon~ Pictures will be uploaded after Fanime =P

During Fanime, Other than Maid Cafe events, I will help my friend Rina with her table at Artist Alley. She is top-notch mangaka in China, and recently came to US. If you love Code Geass, Macross Frontier, Persona; dont miss her table She got very fresh pretty artworks there~~<3

I just want to put some notes for my fanime maid cafe training.

I was chating about how to serve in Japanese on the fanime maid cafe forum with other maids =3
One of the maids Yomi-chan put down a very detailed explanation for us. I think it’s better to have my own notes so I can keep reviewing it xD

There are many different types of moe. Since Yomi-chan is a fan of Keigo moe, so maids is serving in a more formal manner.

=========Notes Start=================

「おかえりまさいませ、ご主人様。お帰りは何名様ですか？」（Elegantly smiling with your head tilted slightly to the side）
For taking orders:
「こちらが本日のメニューでございます。おきまりになりましたら、ご主人様のご注文をお伺いします」 （Elegantly bowing at the same time)
（お 伺いいたします、is polite, but the action of 伺う is on the maid, so it should be normal and double Keigo is not correct, although it is commonly permitted. Or make it simple and say, ご主人様のご注文をどうぞ)
To escourt Goshujinsama and his guests to the table:
「かしこまりました。ご案内いたします。どうぞこちらへ」（Elegantly showing the way with your palm up with a smile)
(At a high class restaurant in Japan, the waitress also said, 「どうぞお足元にお気をつけください(please watch your step)」after this.)

（This whole conversation is 超萌え! (´Д｀；)ハァハァ）

Idealy, かしこまりました is always with a bow to be polite. BUT!! It is not even this professional at Maid Cafes in Japan. So, no worries （´ω｀）

Yukie chan, the polite way of saying “I would like to” with a Master/Maid context is: ご主人様のお望みのままに （Goshujinsama no onozominomamani) = As wish, Master ← This is a HUGE MOE (≧∀≦) ｗｗｗｗｗｗｗｗｗｗ

Or

もちろんです、ご主人様（゜∀゜） ←This is very cute, very universal and also very appropriate!

But you don’t need to worry about Japanese, at fanime all the maids will speak English, except some formal greetings =)

After learning all this, Jun-chan and I started to use what we learned to start a conversation, then..

I just found a few Code Geass MAD on youtube made with songs by my fav music group Sound Horizon.

The songs are from one of Sound Horizon’s early works [Chronicle 2nd]. <–Yukie have the remake version of that CD!! xD The CD was first released as doujin CD sold out at Japanese comic market. Because it was so popular, they re-made the CD a few years later. Now the original version are requested for over 10,000yen but still no one sell them.

The old male vocalist is Jimang, and all other voices/singings are done by my favorite Anamari <3

Side note: One of Sound Horizon’s music influence is the music composer of Chrono Trigger, Yasunori Mitsuda. So in this song ,  you can find similarity in melody from Chrono Trigger. ^-^

The composer of Sound Horizon is Revo, who calls himself Mitsuda’s apprentice.

Yukie’s laptop suddenly got broken..:x I wrote some update and they are gone for now.

Yukie has family event tomorrow then I’m going back to Silicon Valley on Sunday=)  [which means I will be working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week again=_____=a Work hard for new costumes!!! xD ]

Yukie just finished Macross Frontier (I know I’m so slow>.<), I would give it 10/10 and I think it is the best anime I’ve watched in ‘08. (sorry geass and gundam00 lovers =P)

Yukie made some simple baked salmon for mom and dad today ^^

Just took out oven, and 3 pieces already got taken away xD||| I only got taken pictures for the other 3 pieces, which were gone in another 10mins. Glad my mom, dad and uncle all like it. ^__^/

Hmmm comparing to the salmon I made for them last year..with turkey stuffing and cheese

Its actually more tasty this time  yay~ =P

I think I’m still not good enough at cooking…I want to be a good wife when I get married >o</

It’s almost new year! Kohaku is coming and Anime LA is coming~~ Yukie ate a lot at home and grow some meat=___=||| But I still feel happy and healthy. I’m sure I’ll start losing weight fast when I got back to silicon valley.
